INSIGHT EXHIBITION (Chemical Engineering Conference 2020)

Calia Technology Sdn Bhd participated in the exhibition during INSIGHT 2020 event in conjunction with Chemical Engineering Conference 2020 at UTAR Sg Long. Around 20 exhibitors from various industrial background participated. Calia Technology represented analytical testing and physical testing solutions for the industry. We exposed the students and lecturers to the latest technology available in the market and educated them on the theory and application. The students especially were able to gain practical application knowledge and hands-on experience from our representatives and demo equipment displayed.

ROKIT Healthcare DR INVIVO 4D BioPrinting & Humatein training

Calia Technology Sdn Bhd attended training at ROKIT Healthcare in Korea for Life Science products: Dr. INVIVO 4D BioPrinting & HumaTeinTM. This three-day training focuses on Sales and Application of the latest 4D Bioprinter in the market and the next-generation Extra Cellular Matrix. Calia Technology is proud to be the first trading company in Malaysia to introduce a clinically approved 4D Bioprinter which can print organs called as Dr. INVIVO 4D and human based ECM called as HumaTeinTM in Malaysia. It is serving as the region’s trade platform for laboratory equipment & services suppliers to engage with trade buyers from across the ASEAN region. This event features the latest innovations in the laboratory industry, ranging from laboratory supplies to the most cutting-edge analytical instruments. By joining the event, it will create an awareness in our products in the market as well as keeping ourselves updated to the latest market technology.

Hiranuma Titrator Training

Date: 26th to 29th August 2019
Venue: Techcomp Application Laboratory, Beijing, China

Calia Technology has attended 4 days (26th to 29th August 2019) Sales and Service Training for Hiranuma Titrators at Techcomp Application Laboratory, located in Beijing. The training was led by Mr. Kazuya Hiranuma and Mr Hirai from Hiranuma Japan. The scope of training includes fundamental knowledge of titration, setting up of auto-titrator, basic maintenance and troubleshooting. The purpose of this training is to ensure Calia Technology is fully competent to provide the best service to the local customers. This would also ensure the user of Hiranuma Titrator in Malaysia can have a long-lasting instrument.

The trainer is Dr. Manny Almeida (ICP/Dc Arc Product Line Manager of Teledyne Leeman Labs) who has more than 30 years of experience in the ICP industry. Calia Technology Sdn Bhd organized Teledyne TOC Analyzer and Mercury Analyzer Seminar. The speaker is Mr. Wayne Mozer (Asia Director of Business Development, Teledyne Advanced Chemistry Systems, USA) who has more than 30 years of experience in these equipment industry. Participants came from mainly government and private testing laboratories and the universities. Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair

Calia Technology has participated in a 3 days trade show from 26th to 28th June. It was held in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur. This event features the largest Food and Beverage Focused Trade event in the country which offers a platform for businesses from the industry to showcase products and services at both local and international level. This will create an awareness in our products and the importance of stringent testing in food industries as well as the standards to comply to for the best food quality.

The 34th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries

Date: 21st – 24th May 2019
Venue: GuangZhou, China

Calia Technology team members attended CHINAPLAS exhibition which is the world’s leading plastics and rubber trade fair. It is widely recognized by the industry as one of the most influential exhibitions in the world. It was an eye-opening experience where you can explore the latest technology following the latest trend. We also joined as a Hunterlab exhibitor during the exhibition to showcase Hunterlab Colour Spectrophotometer. We visited Hunterlab Hong Kong office which is the calibration centre for Asian countries.

Mocon Europe (Dansensor) Release Event & Factory Visit

Date: 30th April – 3rd May 2019
Venue: Copenhagen & Ringsted, Denmark

Calia Technology attended the release event held in Denmark on the 1st May 2019. This is the release event for the LeakPointer 3 and 3+, the latest leaktester released by Mocon Europe. It is fast, highly accurate and also easy to use. It can detect leak sizes down to 50 microns (µm). This has allowed for us to learn the newest technologcal application and catch up to the latest industry application.
Calia Technology had visited the factory as well which is located in Ringsted. We were brought for a factory visit. This factory visit has allowed for us to see the machine’s assembly process, assembly line as well as the key instrumentation required for the manufacturing and development of the technology. This is done with other distributors which has allowed for us to understand the challenge as well as the difference in other country’s market.

Hunterlab Instruments Advanced Service and Calibration training

Date: 25th to 28th March 2019
Venue: Hunterlab Regional Office, New Territories Hong Kong

Calia Technology has attended 4 days advanced service and calibration training in Hunterlab’s Laboratory located in Hong Kong. It was conducted by Nicolus Cheng, the lead Service Engineer of Hunterlab Regional Office. Scope of training includes advanced service, calibration training, verification training as well as the EZMQC (EZ Match QC) Software interpretation which is used for the Hunterlab machine’s operation. This training ensures that our Malaysian customers will enjoy the best service. This would also ensure that the Hunterlab user will have a long-lasting instrument and a well-maintained accurate instrument.

Ametek Mocon Technical Service Training

Date: 9th to 13th July 2018
Venue: CT&T Centre, Hemetek, Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Calia Technology has attended 5 days technical service training in CT&T Centre, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was held by the Hemetek Techno Instruments Pvt Ltd in their calibration, testing and the training centre. Scope of training includes servicing, calibration as well as troubleshooting of WVTR (water vapour transmission rate) machines as well as OTR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) machines. This training from Mocon’s centre of excellence will ensure that Malaysia’s Mocon customer can have the best service available for them which will give them the best user experience.

AMETEK MOCON 2018 APAC Distributor Sales/ Marketing Conference

Date: 7th & 8th May 2018
Venue: Shanghai, China.

Calia Technology attended Ametek Mocon Distributor Sales/Marketing Conference for 2 days in Shanghai. It was a very participative meeting, with new product launches being shared as well as next generation machine roadmaps in the pipeline. It was attended by Mocon Senior Management Team from Minneapolis for the first time since the acquisition by Ametek. It was also a good platform to share industry trends, market knowledge as well as competitor information as the response was very good from all the Asian Distributors, which had participation from 15 Countries.

HUNTERLAB Sales Meeting and Training

Date: 29th Jan 2018 to 2nd Feb 2018
Venue: Hunterlab Regional Office, New Territories Hong Kong

Calia Technology attended the Hunterlab Sales Meeting in Hong Kong for 5 days. The event was further extended with advanced application training focusing on unique sales methodology of using Colour as a parameter in Quality Control ensuring a faster method for defect detection. This will ensure that customers have an inexpensive fast way to detect defects saving valuable time and money in product manufacturing. A visit was further extended to Hunterlab’s Laboratory which is the first Calibration Laboratory for Colour Spectrophotometer Calibration outside of Reston, USA. This lab will ensure customer can have a fast and affordable calibration for the Asian Region.
